They had become embedded in a war with no end in sight. Godzilla’s support began to wane, until he successfully captured Hello Kitty. That victory however was short lived, and Godzilla’s approval ratings reached an all time low. The real blow came when Rodan and Megalon went public with accusations that Godzilla falsified reports that the Japanese were harboring Ultraman and building an army of Mecha-Godzillas, and that the whole war was started under false pretenses.
That Ultraman is a real douchebag!
