This is where Design & Function meet for tea. The designer Joey Roth explains his inspiration,
"I’ve always been entranced by small, beautiful things that are so detailed, they seem like miniature worlds, yet so ordinary they’re often left unnoticed. I designed Sorapot to emphasize one of my favorite- the unfurling of tea leaves."

Roth did not expect the overwhelming demand for his Sorapot and they have sold out of their first run. They are currently taking pre-orders on their site for the second run, scheduled to be ready in the Spring of 2008.

Definitely nice looking but I’m not sure I get it. Do you put hot water in it or do you put regular water in it and put it in the sun?
