Guitar Hero on Tour with the Nintendo DS

You can’t stop Rock n’ Roll, and some would say you can stop Guitar Hero as this pop phenomenon. Activision announced that it plans to bring Guitar Hero to the handheld world with Nintendo DS. Great idea, I’d love to take my face melting rock & roll skills on the road! I only have one question, how is it going to work. IGN explains…
From IGN:
The Guitar Grip will plug into the Game Boy Advance slot at the bottom of the Nintendo DS system. Players put their hand through the strap of the Guitar Grip for a firm hold on the system, and then position the system in its vertical book form. The peripheral has a storage area for a specially designed stylus pick, which is used to strum the guitar strings on the touch-screen.
Looking at the picture, that process seems awkward at best. I really don’t like the idea of strumming on the touch screen so close to my other hand. What I’d like to see is a wired trigger, maybe like the wii nunchuck that you strum by pulling the trigger. That way you could hold your right hand down where it belongs in the power stance (See our updated post 3/21/08). Hopefully one of the engineers working on this is reading right… I’ve given up trying to get my ideas picked up after about 50 unreturned phone calls to GE about my paper shredder photo scanner combo device concept. They should call it Accordion Hero, the DS resembles that more-so then a guitar. Especially with how they placed the buttons.

That is a killer idea… they already have the nunchuck, they should just make a smaller version for the DS Guitar Hero and then it would definitely rock!

This a great idea..if u never wanna get laid.I mean, for-real.Any guy that can rock on one of these obviously cant get any social interaction from any hot chicks.
