Usually we bring you the best stuff you simply have to have, but sometimes we we see products that "stink" so much we have to share. The PETaPOTTY is such a product. Basically it is a turf covered patch of land you can keep in your house so your dog can relieve itself without having to leave the comfort of your home. They extol it’s internal drainage system for disposing of liquid waste. Strangely they do not discuss the process of cleaning a giant steaming pile out of the plastic blades of grass.

My pup poops once a day outside. We pick up solids and bag them for the landfill, as this material is not compostable. Any practical methods of making his wastes compostable might be useful, first, for my garden and second, to lessen the load on landfill.
