The only thing more embarrassing than having to park your own Ferrari, is parking it on the street next to an identical quarter million dollar car. You don’t drop that kind of cash to just join the crowd. Ferrari has taken note of this concern and has started the One to One program which allows you to design your own Scaglietti in detail, and then they make whim a reality in a special section of the Maranello factory. As you would expect, you have the option of tuning some jaw dropping performance with a V12 engine and a Super fast electro-hydraulic shifted gearbox but my favorite feature is not under the hood but over head…
The Scaglietti comes with an electrochromic panoramic roof. It’s a special glass that reacts to electrical current changing from a solid color you can’t see through, to completely transparent with just the flip of the dial. I first saw this technology in the bathroom stall doors of a bar in Manhattan. I was pretty impressed then but I would have to say this was a little better use of the technology.

That’s really cool. I’ve wanted to do something like that ever since i saw my first auto-darkening welding helmet.
It would make great for window tint as well; a little electricity and all the particles lay down.
I have followed Ferrari for over 45 years. Still the best!
45 years? And you still haven’t caught up? My! Those Ferraris ARE fast, aren’t they!
Ferrari was named as the most desirable place to work, in 2007, by Financial Times.
