Modbook: The Only Mac Tablet
The Macbook has long bee the instrument of choice for Artists, Designer and other creative types, but for some reason they never made one in the "hands on" Tablet form factor. Now Axiotron has broken through the divide with the Modbook, a modified Macbook, dissected and rebuilt in the spirit of Alex J. Murphy, into a rugged and sleek magnesium alloy encased tablet.
Normally Jobs lays the smack down on third party hardware running the Mac OS but for some reason Apple seems to be letting Axiotron slide for now. The result… a super cool tablet that will let me look down my nose at PC and Mac users next time I’m pretending to write at Starbucks.
