A few weeks ago we featured a killer convertible couch that received a lot of attention.  Most of you loved it but the chief complaint was that it cost almost 7 grand, cheapskates!  We here’s a more traditional spin that will go light on your wallet and surprising light on your arms.  This bad boy weighs in at only 35 pounds and costs $280.  Perfect for po folk living in a closet up an obscene amount of stairs. 

This cool expanding table Philippe Braun can easily be converted to double it’s seating capacity without the use of leafs, extra parts and without losing its circular shape.  I love this design!  I have a round dining table and I like it round, but when I’m having more than 4 people to the table I have to risk life and limb and make the trek up to the attack, drag down the leafs and mar natures perfect shape.

• 4 to 8 people - Diameter stretches from 42 inches to 64 inches
• 6 to 12 people - Diameter stretches from 51 inches to 79 inches
